I get that LSAT is supposed to be difficult, but man, they could have made AC C so much better... Shit is so vague & the amount of explanation that JY had to provide to explain why C is right convinced me even less. JY made so many assumptions to "make" C right.

This took me a bit to understand why B is not the correct choice. I was torn between B and D. During the timed run, I chose B. On BR, I chose B. I watched JY's video, but didn't find it very helpful. This question has been haunting me in my dreams. This is what I came up with.

The stimulus isn't about comparing the severity of punishment for people convicted with violent crimes v. nonviolent crimes. The stimulus is about how it's unfair for the people convicted of nonviolent crimes have to pay $30 surcharge that helps the victims of violent crimes.

Once I understood that, AC D looked much more attractive. AC D is not comparing between NV Crime and V Crime. It is a statement that applies to both groups on principle.

I get that LSAT is supposed to be difficult, but my goodness...the conclusion of the stimulus is so poorly written.

I don't know if I would have ever gotten this question right. The correlation (more officers --> less violent crimes) is not the reality of the city I live in (Chicago) & it was really hard to separate that from this question. Answer choice E was the one of the first ACs that I eliminated for that reason.

I chose B b/c while "some crimes" may not include violent crimes, it also does not exclude violent crimes. As I type it out, I see the flaw in that statement too, but I thought that would be a better way to get the crime rates low than having more police officers on the street.

I had 2 RCs. The first one was the hardest RC I have ever done. Definitely panicked a little, which affected my performance on the LG (normally get -1/-2, but I think this one would be -3/-4). I was able to keep it together for the second portion, but man, that was honestly the most dreaded scenario (2 RCs) for me. ..

Any advice on how to get better on entire tests?

I am performing pretty well when I take the sections individually, but I am not doing so great when I take the entire PTs. I find it that I get 2-3 (sometimes even 5) more wrong per section when I take the entire PTs. If anyone had similar experience, how did you overcome this? What helped you the most?

In case it helps, for the past month or so, I have been doing and reviewing at least 3 sections everyday (not necessarily from same PTs though). If I don't have time to do a full section, I would do at least 1 full LR and 2 games and 2 passages. This approach has been helpful, so I get used to "switching" modes.
