36 years old here, applying after 15 years in the music business (what is left of it anyway!). Do any schools accept the June LSAT for this year's admissions cycle? Quick word of advice: it's been many years since you finished your undergrad and last wrote an exam - as it was for me this past December - I wouldn't underestimate the shock to the system the LSAT will/could be (despite being well prepared I thought, the stress of exam day sort of caught me off guard). I re-wrote last week, and felt infinitely better, having reacclimatized my system to the nerves of a real exam environment. Good luck to you, it's certainly a unique but exciting challenge applying to school later in life :-)

HI!! Me too! Music industry here, I work at a label. :) Been in the industry for a little over 10 years, but yeah... it is rough out there. I’ve been lucky to survive many rounds of lay offs. :-/

Does anyone else feel incapable of relaxing post exam. Almost like studying separation anxiety lol

YES. Me too. This exam is so unlike normal exams, in that the euphoric sense of relief you expect and look forward to.... is somewhat elusive! Also I think it's hard to truly relax knowing you have the agonizing wait before the score is released.

I think if you are asking this question now, you should probably delay (and I think deep down you probably feel the same way?). Even if you hit your recent PT averages, that is really borderline for entrance into any Canadian school, let alone the Ontario schools you listed. The LSAT is so much a psychological test... if you aren't fairly confident going in, and scoring roughly where you want, I can't imagine things turning out well. I say this as a fellow Canadian applicant, who under-performed on my last exam, and am re-writing tomorrow. I'm anxious and terrified enough as it is, and I have been PT-ing in the range I want and need to be over the past month. Whatever you decide, best of luck!

I don't mind this policy. I wrote the December exam, and left my phone at home. It wasn't a big deal. Then again, I went through my entire undergrad pre-iPhone era, so I remember the days when we had to plan things ahead ;-) I don't think the policy is outdated at all, if anything, it's more relevant now than ever before. If they didn't have this policy, someone's phone would inevitably go off in the testing room. I can't remember the last concert I played/attended, where this didn't happen. Bring a quarter for a phone call, cash for a cab, or write down bus directions to get home. It'll be okay. And good luck Saturday!

Received my Feb LSAT result, and am happy with a 7-point improvement over December, just 1 point below my PT average (and a roughly 20% rank improvement). I discovered 7Sage around Christmas time, and blew through the CC in January just in time for the Feb re-write. Sure wish I had started with this course when I began studying in September/October. Better late than never. Also received my first acceptance (based on the old score) the previous day, and am hopeful for more offers after schools receive the Feb score. Thanks 7Sage. I am officially done with the LSAT

Hey @ Thanks so much for the very thoughtful response! Honestly, I haven't been blind reviewing LG or RC because with unlimited time I always get 100% on LG, and darn close to that on RC - I guess my BR score would actually be much higher if I had been doing that. I was under the impression that BR was really meant exclusively for revealing/improving your thought process on LR questions. And yes, printing off a fresh copy for review would be have a good idea. I didn't even think of that.. but I'm using LSAC books, so getting a fresh copy would have been more difficult. You're right, I could probably use another run through CC, especially if I wanted to score in the 170s... but as I'm writing the test in a week, not going to happen. As it is, I flew through the CC in one month (January). Wish I had discovered 7Sage much sooner.

BR score differential minimal?

Hi fellow Sagers,

I'm currently in the final stretch preparing for the February LSAT. I have a quick question re: blind review. I've been doing it for the past 4 weeks, and rarely see an improvement (or significant increase) on my BR results. Sometimes it's actually lower! I feel like I almost look to find a way to pick an alternate answer, if I've tagged a Q for BR. Like it's triggering a part of my brain to second guess my original reasoning. Sometimes my BR is one or two points above or below my timed conditioned PT. For example, just PT-ed #71. Actual score: 165. BR: 166. Am I an outlier? Is this normal? Seems like everyone else scores way higher on their BR. To be clear, I'd be more than happy with anything in the 160s as these scores will fall in and above the medians for my schools of choice (Canada), so I'm not especially bothered by the scores nor am I aiming for the 170s (of course, a score up there would be a pleasant surprise, but I don't think it's realistic). Any feedback on this would be most welcomed.
