one of the greatest lessons i ever learned in school was from my 8th grade reading teacher. she reviewed an exam of mine and noticed I erased a correct answer and instead chose an incorrect one. She told me to ALWAYS trust my first instinct.

I find this to be often true but more difficult on LSAT. Diagnostic score was shit, but i did notice that more than half of my wrong answer choices were narrowed down to the correct one and the one i picked. easy to see in hindsight but instinctually i was in the ballpark and prob missed a few second guessing myself.
