Can someone share the link for tonight?

@ Lmao I literally just understood what you meant.

Excited for this BR tonight! I'm taking next week's administration and last night's BR for PT74 really helped out. It's great to hear how others approach a problem and how people reason to select the correct answer choice from the remaining contenders.

P.S. Is it possible to change my avatar? Got nothing against the color green, of course.

I just recently began using a watch. I've had the opposite problem where I speed through a section as quickly as possible, only to realize I had 5mins left to spare (clearly I wasn't utilizing my time as efficiently as I could have and that was reflected on my raw score).

For LR I've typically started to glance at my wrist after question 10 to make sure I'm either at or below 10mins. Since the questions get a little more difficult between 10-20, I check back at 20 after having to deal with a couple of curve breaker questions and I'm expecting at least two more between 20-25. I also want to give myself ample time to go back in case I circled a question. I like to be at or closely around 25mins in when I hit question 20. This has turned out to be the most efficient way for me and I never run out of time during any given LR section.

For RC I only check my watch after I complete the second passage (& questions). I make sure I'm either at or below 20mins, depending on where the 5 question passage lands, either the first or second half. If it's in the first half I usually finish the first two passages in 16-18mins leaving me with more time to tackle the longer passages in the second half.

Lastly LG, I simply check my watch after completing every game. I usually try to finish games within 7-8mins each (unless it's game 3 from PT77, then I just put down my pencil and cry a little before skipping it).

I think the key to timing is finding your sweet spot for each question type and sticking to it. As long as you create and practice a specific system (whether internalized or externalized, or both) you'll be able to complete each section and have a minute or two to check back on any ones you circled.

Hope this helped!

@ that was literally me on December 5th. "Is this third game even real? Maybe if I read it slowly ONE MORE TIME the set up will come to me" yeahhhh that wasn't the case...

@

One quick question for you!

I'm taking the test on Feb. 6th and missed the first webinar on PT77 game 3. Is there anyway that BR could be completed before next Saturday's administration?

Thanks!

I was literally going to take PT74 as soon as I got home today, so this works out perfectly! Hopefully we can do at least one more of these before the test next week(:

I just recently began having a similar problem to @.kogan when it comes to identifying LG setups right off the bat.

Before reading this post, which is actually incredibly insightful, I was already practicing LGs in a similar fashion. I would complete 3-4 sets and then retake them after hearing JY's explanation to make sure I picked up on the inferences. After about two weeks (this intense studying started at the beginning of this month after tanking on the December administration) I was consistently hitting +19/23 in every LG section. Then I attempted to take a timed PT in the 30s and got thrown off by an incredibly difficult setup. I thought I had seen every game board setup possible, and even if that wasn't true I believed I'd done enough games to create one on the spot... but that wasn't the case. While I ended up scoring 16 correct in the section, I realized that to hit a 160 I could not afford to freeze on a game (this is actually exactly what happened to me during 77 and I only got 12 correct in the section).

I apologize for the long-winded explanation, but I wanted to provide some context to my situation. My question is: What is the best method to secure that one has seen all (general) LG game boards? Does 7Sage provide a complete breakdown of every possible game board and LSAC solely tweaks a game to make it a bit more challenging? If not, I have PTs 29-76 and can supplement the curriculum on here to make sure nothing hits me by surprise. I know I won't score above a 160 if the same thing happens to me the second time around.

Any advice would be truly appreciated! @

I'm staying in state (Florida State University) but am looking into the possibility of transferring. Does anyone know if top 20 schools would take my scores from the June administration into consideration, even though I wouldn't have applied with them this cycle?

(Taking the test again to get more $$$ from my school)

@ I realized today that I only ordered the LR/RC bibles, along with PTs 20-30 and 72-76. So I'll stick to 7sage's LG method and continue to foolproof.

Also, thanks for the heads up! I will definitely be here Wednesday night!

@ I've actually been using PTs 40-70 to drill LG inferences for the passed week or so and have seen major improvements in that section (got 12/23 when I took the exam and now I'm not scoring below 19/23). I like 7Sage's method to tackle LGs, I more so want the bibles to supplement the foundation 7sage has helped me create. As far as burning out, I graduated in December so my schedule only consists of a 9am-2pm job which isn't very demanding, which is why I can dedicate 8hrs a day and not drive myself crazy. I will definitely go back and revisit the conditionals! Thanks!

@ Thank you! In retrospect, attempting to read a book every five days does seem sort of unrealistic lol I'll definitely make sure to focus on my weaknesses per section as opposed to learning an entirely new method in less than a month.

Need advice for Feb. LSAT!

Hey, everyone!

So I took the LSAT in December and scored a 151 in spite of consistently scoring 155-160 in my PTs. I'm taking the test again in February and need some advice from those who have used the LG/RC Bibles. I'm allotting 8hrs a day every day until the test to digest these two new books and was wondering if anyone has used this material and has any advice?

I'm worried that I won't have enough time (roughly three weeks) to get the most out of the new material. If anyone can shed some light on what they believe was most important/helpful in these books, I would really, really, really appreciate it!!!

@ Yeah I thought the first LR section was harder, second one with the dolphin and seals was a lot easier. Only had two LR sections though.

@ I had two LGs as well. Don't really think it matters for me which one was the experimental because I ran out of time for both of the 3rd sets of games and had to make some quick guesses "/

@ I was scoring 155-160 on all of my PTs and thought I scored a 157 on the Dec test, or at the lowest a 155... walked out of the test room that day with a 151. I completely understand where you're coming from. It's a huge blow to your self-esteem and makes you wonder if you can really improve at all in one month after having studied for 5 months straight and seeing absolutely no improvement (I scored a 149 on my very first PT).

I'll be taking the exam again in February simply because the law school that I want to attend in Florida superscores. If your schools do as well, I would recommend focusing on your worst section (LGs for me) and seeing what happens. Worst comes to worst, you put law school off for a year and really focus all of your time and energy on getting the score your want. Just my two cents(:
