I am currently 26 and will be starting law school next year which means I will be 27. I see that so many people are around my age so I'm really glad...I thought I would be surrounded by people in their early 20s. I thought I was really late because I took 3 years off during college to do 1 year of work experience and 2 years of military service. I am also taking 2 years off after college to work at as a paralegal at a BigLaw and there were some lawyers who were saying to me how that I should hurry up with my life because they became junior partners in their early 30s or something. Good to see I won't be an outside in law school :)
Hi, I am done with the LSAT (had my final take in Oct in Asia). I really want to have access to this PT to see the infamous LG section (I just really like solving LG problems..lol). Would it be possible to somehow purchase it directly from 7sage? If not, would it be possible to sign up for 7sage and then purchase PT88 and then get money back guaranteed on the account? @
Hi,
I posted a couple weeks ago about thanking 7sage and I'd like to do it one more time now that I am officially done with my cycle.
I've been accepted to Penn Law, and I'm thrilled to be heading off to law school (finally!)
Can anyone give me advice on what to do prepare for law school? What books should I be reading or how can I start preparing for law school exams or what to study in terms of learning the black letter law. I know that there is a wealth of knowledge and advice for 0L prep so I'd really appreciate it if anyone could weigh in on this.
Thanks again so much!
Hi, Asia LSAT test taker here. Nothing disastrous. Also aiming for Cornell or somewhere similar. I'm thinking of submitting application in November and if I get accepted somewhere I can retake in January for scholarship negotiation purposes...I think this is better than waiting out to retake in January because January scores won't come out until Februrary and schools will have already accepted many students so only a few seats left....
Hi, I'm not sure if anyone has ever experience this before, but is it possible to defer law school by a year and during that one-year deferral, apply for JD/MBA? I was supposed to attend Penn Law this coming fall, but I'm thinking of deferring and applying for MBA during my one-year deferral (goal is to do 3 year JD/MBA program)...if anyone has any input, that would be much appreciated! Thanks!

@ That was a great session with Anne and Sabrina! I really wanted to ask a question, but I'm in Asia and working so couldn't multi-task while my co-workers were within earshot...Thank you so much for organizing this David! Really appreciate it.
@ Hey so yeah I did ED. I also didn't know Penn did interviews so it caught me off guard and I was really nervous because I really wanted to attend. Anyhow, it turned out all right in the end.
@ where to start...there's so many different things I've tried so maybe a direct PM might be better.
Hi all,
I never knew this day would be coming, but time really does fly. I started my LSAT journey back in Jan 2017 and it's been hell of a ride. I started with a 130 (no joke) and I've been able to improve my score drastically and I don't think it's sugar coating it when I say it's because of the help I got from the 7sage community.
Yesterday, I had my Penn Law (or Penn Carey Law) interview and after I was done, I couldn't help but think back to how I got to that point in my life. It's always been a dream for me to go to Penn Law (due to my strong interest in business law) and just the idea of doing an interview was surreal to me. What I really want to say to you all is never give up and pursue your goal. I know this has been said many many times, but keep enduring while you're studying for the LSAT or writing your personal statement and you'll eventually get there. I've had many many many sleepless nights not just studying for the LSAT, but also putting together a strong application with the personal statement, LORs, why X essays, resume, etc. But seriously it was all worth it in the end. And if I could go back in time, I'd do the same thing.
I hope I have more interviews coming my way, but in the meantime, let me know if you guys want any advice regarding LSAT, admissions process, etc. Would be more than happy to answer questions. Thank you again 7sage community!
