Cancel my score

Hi! I received a 161 on my first LSAT. I am trying to figure out if I should cancel my score. I have the whole year to study (applying to the 2026 cycle), and aim to get in the 170s. In the eyes of a T-14 school, is a 161 worse or better than a cancellation on my record?

Thanks for guidance!

Does "most" imply "many"?

LSAT Writing Questions

  • Can you use made-up information to your essay?
  • Can you use outside information?
  • Should you use all the info they gave you in the prompt in your essay?

Is it helpful to Blind Review the whole test?

    Violate a Principle

When we violate a principle, are we essentially negating that principle?

PRINCIPLE: If you intentionally misrepresent someone's beliefs, then you do so in the interest of another person.

VIOLATION: If you intentionally misrepresent someone's beliefs, then you DO NOT do so in the interest of another person.

I am basing my example off of LSAT PT 140 S1Q19.

I'm pretty sure on the LSAC website it lists additional things you can have, including those pieces of paper.

    PT20.S4.Q25 vs. PT29.S1.Q16

Hi, I am confused on LSAT 29 – Section 1 – Question 16. I don’t understand why we don’t have to assume PIE falls into the group of languages that lacks words for prominent elements. In comparison to LSAT 20 – Section 4 – Question 25, which has a similar structure to this problem, answer choice C would force us to assume that Marianne’s involuntary humming is something that she is aware of, which would undermine the premise, but that assumption makes the answer choice incorrect. Why in this problem can we make the assumption, but the other problem, we cannot?

    Thank you!
