I was choosing between B and D and ended up picking D because in B "than they did earlier in their adulthood" threw me off...

Ahhh yea B is very confusing, that's why I didn't pick it. Also, English not being my first language shows in questions like these.

It says "ants of MOST species" ahhh I missed that most

I knew B was wrong right away, however, C seemed to be the right answer to me but I see why it is wrong now.
