@ it's okay. I'll figure it out. @ just because I'm valuing at all doesn't mean I'm overvaluing it. With big decisions like whether or not to postpone and retake the LSAT, any tool like that can definitely be helpful.

I'm really seeking advice on whether to move forward with the application process or wait and take the LSAT again since I underperformed.

Stanford seems much more concerned with soft factors and is thus considered an admissions "black box." If you have killer rec letters and a solid personal statement, I don't think it's worth it

Advice on next steps

I scored a 171 on the Oct. 2015 LSAT, below my 174.5 average, which has really dampened my expectations.

I am not sure what to expect after underperforming. Do you guys think I should...

1) retake in December (hard to do with 50+ hours of work each week)

2) push off law school and retake in February or June

3) go for it and see what happens
