Hey folks, I'm going to be doing a PT this Saturday at 10 am CST. If you are taking PT's now, feel free to join in. We don't need to be working on the same test either.
Anyone interested?

Hi, I made a post about this just recently. I was looking for a potential tutor. Please let me know if you have availability.
Hey y'all, is there any high scorer out there who would be willing to hone their teaching skills by tutoring me? I'm defining 'high' as 170.
Targeting a summer/early fall exam date. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
I chose E and now I see that it is painfully wrong lol
been there, but I need more than 3 points! but you got this!!! if you have a group add me bro/sis
Hey all, I'm a 27M and I'm averaging around 153 which is not good enough for my target school. I could use some work in all sections. Seeking a person or group of patient and focused people to work with. My goal is to take the April 2022 LSAT.
I can be flexible with my schedule so just PM me if you are interested, friendly, and patient. Good vibes only.
The question actually isn't about if I can afford it, nor is it about tutor rates. Even with an expert tutor, there is no guarantee that the teaching style will match my learning style.
What I asked for was a willing person to help me out. As you said you've encountered multiple people who scored 170+ who didn't teach the material well, but as I'm sure you've already learned, that doesn't imply that a person who scored 170+ is a bad teacher either. 170+ implies a firm grasp of the material as you alluded to.
So while I appreciate your response it actually doesn't help me at all. Ciao.

They're definitely available. The proper questions to ask are whether you could afford them and if you could, should you tutor at rates like that, especially since there really is no guarantee your score will increase. While it is essential that the tutor have a firm grasp on the material, I've encountered multiple tutors who scored 170+ who don't know how to teach the material. Being able to perform well on the test and teach the material are two different things.
I disliked (and appreciate coming across) this question because it was really tricky for me and I couldn't settle on why 'A' was the correct choice. What helped understand is the stimulus states:
1. MS is autoimmune (white blood cells attack myelin sheaths)
2. Gamma interferon was tested in the past but not the cause
AC 'A' wants us to believe that Gamma interferon prevent white blood cells from producing the myelin sheath destroying compounds. If that were true, the patients wouldn't get worse. This AC is inconsistent with the passage
Hey bro, I'll def be interested in joining on a part-time basis. I can be flexible with my schedule also.
Unless your scores, rec letters, personal statement, and other writing samples are pristine, I would personally hold off until the next cycle when more scholarship dollars will be available.
David, this is an awesome resource! Thank you for posting!
Hey! I’m about to do two hours of studying. Join so we can hold each other accountable.
Let me know if you’re interested, I’ll send a google link!
Hey Scott,
Much appreciated, but 7sage's tutoring is too rich for my blood.
Helpful read. Thanks!
