thank u soo much!!

got stuck on this while doing PT 37 section 2 qs 3.....such an easy qs and easy to do....but for some reason i tried to map the embedded conditionals and got trapped akin to going down alice's hole....am getting stuck on every qs that has without in its sentence structures since....mental knot that refuses to dissolve....could you please help with reference to the embedded logic in this qs...

However it's not true that that's the case with all group3 translations. For example, "Ella can pass unless she gives her presentation" That translates to "If Ella can't pass then she will give her presentation" EP-->GP.> ....

did you mean this has to be /EP-->GP....typo?? confused....maybe its just my mental state about this whole thing....> > >

'Even without'

'even without' does not seem to follow our group 3 indicator rules....

Ella can pass even without giving her presentation

Using Group 3 rules I came up with /pass --> give ppt

but that doesn't make any sense....what the sentence is really trying to say is not ( pass ---> ppt ) which amounts to pass and /ppt

very diff to mechanically following group 3 rules....

thinking harder about this and it doesn't matter whether it is without or even without group 3 logic doesn't hold nonetheless...

am i missing something here??

b is stronger than e coz e addresses adequacy whereas b addresses survival....for sure as suggested in e grains might not be adequate nutrition but here i think the main point is consideration for quantity vs quality.....how many mouths can we feed vs how many mouths can we feed qualitatively- for it to be a moral dilemna....

i reasoned the irrelevance of d eventually, but there is a subtle nuance there which might be good to pay heed to....the reference is to the popular use of the term 'fittest' vis a vie the biologist's interpretation of the term leading to the tautology....here the author uses the biologist version --> tautology ---> non informative and scientifically irrelevant....

doesn't necessarily lead us to say scientifically informative claims can not use terms the way they are used by the public just because not done so in this particular instance....

love u LSAT writers!!

u guys are super awesome.....

PT17.S3.Q03 - patents and inventions

https://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-17-section-3-question-03/

i am having a tough time getting my head around why answer choice b is not a good contender...

while i agree with ac d being correct...am unable to justify why ac b is incorrect.....

negation of b- implementing a technology sometimes requires more creative effort than does true invention....this would totally wreck the current argument which in current state is preferring to shield small time inventors from large entity implementers of technology....

am getting stuck so much today.....feel like my brain is all gone mush....

all help welcome!

arrrhhhhgghhh....

agree....but that is exactly what is going on in answer choice b too if we read closely.....few deny, one denies, but flaw in the method used hence rejected by author in favour of contrary view...the only difference between answer choices b and c being in c it is a universal quantifier with all ....

PT20.S1.Q10 - premiums for automobile

https://classic.7sage.com/lesson/flaw-questions-problem-set-12/

https://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-20-section-1-question-10/

For this qs, while it fits well into the classic causation correlation flaw category with AC c as the correct answer, i am unable to get past AC e for its equitable validity as an answer choice as well....

can anyone help me get past this road block in my head please...

thanks heaps!
