Everyone, thank you so much for the support! All of you make this such an awesome community!

@ Harvard, Yale, and Stanford were the dream. However, like with most people, those schools seemed so far off when I was PTing. I didn't want to get my hopes up. However, I think it is important to have reach goals and aspirations. I would visit the websites of these schools whenever I was feeling down after a rough PT. I also found hope on 7Sage. This community is full of amazing people who have worked so hard to get their goal scores and eventually end up at their dream schools. Despite some annoyances I may have with the LSAT, I truly appreciate the test because it provides an opportunity to demonstrate hard work and commitment. Keep up your studying! A great score will open up some amazing opportunities for you!

@ Thank you, I will! You are going to rock June!

@ Awesome, I look forward to seeing you there!

As for the ad, there have been a lot more of you lately. Excited for the February LSAT? @ If you can remove the ad, that would be great. Thanks!

Aloha everyone!

Please join me for a night of PT 83 RC at 7 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 1.

We will be applying 7Sage's RC strategies and techniques to the newest RC section on the market. I will also share some of the RC insights that I have picked up from taking every single RC section multiple times and from tutoring. At the end of the session, I will also answer any RC questions you might have.

Who is this session for?

This session is primarily for February test takers who want to reinforce their understanding of RC and see 7Sage's strategies in action. June test takers may also want to attend. However, you might also want to save PT 83 for later in your studies.

How do I prepare?

Please take PT 83 and BR it. Ultimate+ users can access this test here: https://classic.7sage.com/lesson/preptest-83/. Other users can purchase the test here: https://classic.7sage.com/addons/.

Please do not look at the correct answers. We want to think about the questions and really reason through them, which is best done when you don't know the correct answers.

Finally, make sure you have the test in front of you. Because this is a new test, I will not be sharing my screen (test).

How do I join?

Please join my meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.

@ I am very disappointed, you did not mention the most important person in this whole process. Please give Shia LaBeouf the credit he deserves. I think he could use the love.

In all seriousness, congratulations! You deserve it!!! It has been a pleasure knowing you. I will always remember our BR calls and Selena.

You are going to crush it at Chicago!

@ Thank you for attending the AMA! Haha, sorry about that. You sounded great on the call so no worries there!

@ You mean the Law School Admissions Simulator game? It is great! I love getting hit with status effects while managing my stress level. I certainly reached 100 at some point and was afflicted with "horror." I have played it a number of times. I plan to get the DLC and run through that before law school starts. What other games do you recommend? I am planning to pick up Dark Souls Remastered. I know they did not change much, but I am excited that there will be more people playing online. Also, I am still rooting for you for this cycle. You have to get off of one of those waitlists! Let me know if I can do anything to help. I cannot think of anyone more deserving.

First off, great job on the 5 point increase! You are now extremely close to your goal score.

I agree with @ and @. Law schools (except maybe Yale) take only your highest score. Because of that and the new LSAC policy of allowing unlimited retakes, deciding to retake is almost always the right decision. There is the test cost and the additional work, but that is well worth it if it gets you into your target school.

You are clearly a strong person and a great applicant. I know you have what it takes to give it your all over the next six weeks and reach your goal score. You are so close and you deserve it. Now, go get it!

AMA with Sage Daniel S. | Wednesday, October 25, 7 pm EDT

This awesome community has kept me going from the 150s to my eventual score of 177 on the September 2017 LSAT. I am honored to have this opportunity to give back and answer your questions!

My LSAT journey has been full of roadblocks, plateaus, test anxiety, and breakthroughs. As @"Cant Get Right" said, this did not come easy to us. However, that is what gives me the confidence to tell you that if we can do this so can you. It may take a lot of time, sweat, and tears, but you can do it. I will do my best to provide advice to make your journey less bumpy. I look forward to answering your questions on Wednesday!

Does RC make you look like this?

Hey everyone! For the next few months, I will be offering free weekly RC workshops. While RC is infamous for being the hardest section to improve, major gains have been demonstrated time and time again by countless 7Sagers. I am here to provide solid strategies and methods to tackle the different passage topics, question types, and the various grammatical and structural tricks that the LSAT writers love to create for us.

My goal is to help you build confidence and control over RC. The section might seem unstable and random, but it is possible to feel almost as good about RC as the best test takers do about LG. I will help you on that journey. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday!

This week: Analyzing the two kinds of science passages + some analogy questions

Future sessions will include:

Focus on analogy questions (My favorite! Not really)

Dealing with hard MP questions and eliminating wrong answers

Mastering comparative passages featuring J.Y.’s approach

Author opinion and noticing tone (utter rage = “reasoned disagreement” in academia)

Notation and skipping strategies

Hunting for elusive inferences (Hint: it’s in the last place you look)

As with the LR workshops, I will only use older tests (PT 1-35) in order to preserve the newer tests as PTs. This time I actually mean it!

Hi @,

Here is the link to the webinar: https://classic.7sage.com/webinar/weaken-strengthen/

It is awesome! Nicole explains one of the most valuable but often overlooked parts of the test: identifying the argument type. It is worth thinking about this for other question types, including flaws.

@ I would not worry too much about it. This is a bit of an odd cycle. This week, a bunch of people with amazing stats (including a 176 LSAT + 3.95 GPA) were waitlisted at Chicago.

I think that the increased number of applications might be causing law schools to be a little more cautious with acceptances than they have been in the past. If that is the case, do not give up. In a bit, you can write an LOCI to demonstrate your interest.

I know someone who got off the waitlist at Northwestern and got a $150,000 scholarship. Last year, someone got off the waitlist at Chicago and received a Ruby (full tuition + stipend). While I don't know specifically about Duke, being waitlisted at the top schools does not necessarily mean that you will get little to no merit aid. I wish you all the best with your applications!

Because of how the text appears in the title, the end time is more noticeable than the start time. People have missed meetings in the past because of this. I want to make sure all of you get the right time.

@ Good question. I am looking into the matter. Generally BR and review sessions for new tests are not recorded even though the test is not share. This is for legal reasons. I will let everyone know once I find out whether or not we can record.

@ brings up a good point. Students often find that their section scores jump around from PT to PT. The difficulty of the sections changes from test to test. A student taking the RC section with riddled basins (a 5-star difficulty section) will likely have a worse RC score than if they took a 2-star difficulty RC section. This is why you should not freak out if your RC score drops a little. Check the difficulty of the section in 7Sage Analytics. Similarly, you should also realize that a good RC section score on one test may not hold when facing a more difficult section on the next test. You always want to try to improve.

In the end, I think we can learn a lot even from the easier sections. The fundamentals of RC are the same. We just have to work a little harder and smarter on the hard RC sections. The general focus on this session is to apply strategies to RC as a whole.
