Hi! So, when I blind review my answers and review the ones I did not get a chance to answer due to time, do I enter the answer choice in the analytics for the BR or leave them out? Thanks!

Hello,
Like others I am trying to decide whether to take September (see score and make a decision on retaking or not) or just go for November completely.
Background:
Goal: min 170
Highest PT: 165
AVG on last 5 PTs: 158
Studied for about a year and half now (on and off)
Lately, I've started a new job and have pushed myself so hard these last six months that by August I was burnt out. I practiced just not productively reviewing or reviewing the next day after.
Any idea if I should take it solely November or take it September (then decide)?
Thanks @ ! That was beyond perfect
Hello
So let's say I take September and use that score to apply to schools. If I decide to take November and hopefully score higher, can I use those test scores even though I sent and completed applications?
Thanks
Hello, I guess what's keeping me back from delaying (or a future retake) is I don't know what I will do differently. I feel like I've tried everything (tutoring, in person course, 7sage) and I'm still not where I want the be. Does anybody have advice on what they did differently for a retake or delay that helped?
Hello,
Is there a list of 7sage tutors that are still active?

Mmm, take this advice with caution. There are MANY things to take into consideration when picking your law school.
Things like;
Loans/Grants
Employment Statistics
Bar Passage
Job placement
For instance Hofstra has a 41% employment rate after graduation whereas Harvard has a 91% employment rate.
I think both "T-14 or bust" and "follow the money" are over simplifying things. I think the best advice is to carefully compare, and weigh, all of your options.
I also caution people to not rely on anecdotal evidence. You can succeed from a low rank school and fail at a top ranked school. Statistically it is more likely to come out the other way though.
I guess the crux of what I'm saying is; make informed, educated decisions, based on the totality of your individual situation. Don't just think rank/money should decide the school for you.
Hello, I'm going to quote this because this accurately sums up my opinion and my advice to anyone who is deciding between schools whatever their ranking is.
Hello,
Just for fun tell us what's your dream school regardless of your finances, GPA, or test scores. Then 3 reasons why that school(s).
My dream schools are Columbia or NYU.
Columbia
NYU

Thank you all for your help. I have been using 7sage and have found it very helpful and informative. However, I do feel like an in class prep course would do me well with cementing the fundamentals and then allow me afterwards to use 7sage and others materials to reinforce what I learned through drilling, pting,BRing, and other applications. I really want to combine 7sage with power score in combo. 7sage has been great but I still think a structured in class course would compliment my progression. However, thanks to your insight I will also look into some tutors in my area to see if this will be a helpful alternative. Any place/company in particular to look for a quality tutor?
Hello! I am having some trouble with the question types and general strategy for RC. Does anyone have any outside supplements that they have found helpful specifically for RC? I'm in the process of drilling RC passages now and any help would be great.
So, this may be the worse place to ask this, but the TLS page on this has many outdated links and information. My question is has anyone done an in class prep course? If so, how did you like it? Did you mix in 7sage info with your course If so, was that helpful? Also, any general pros and cons about in class prep specifically with powerscore or any company. Thank you!
That's a difficult decision. If you want to practice in NY, then I am leaning Brooklyn. However, from my knowledge Emory does place graduates in NY (Atlanta native). However, I do not know if its a large enough amount to base anything on or how much class rank matters in this decision. Though, it is definitely not unheard of for an Emory law grad. Brooklyn offers you ties and network in the actual area you want to practice, however Emory has prestige which is arguably more regional centered in the south. I would say talk to the actual students at Emory and see if you can find anyone who knows someone gunning for NY or is gunning for NY. Also, you can see if you can get in contact with Emory's career service office to see their placement/recruitment efforts in NY.
Email them to be sure; schools have different polices on this. Most will hold but some will not.
Hello,
I have a really really rough draft of personal statement and wanted to know if anyone would want to swap to review. Also am I allowed to post my PS here? Thanks.

You make me want to rethink my top 5. LOL
Some ideas may be but not limited to scholarships, location, course variety and/or student life. Mines are:
Any T6 with a really good scholarship. I have a special preference for NYU or Harvard.
Ok Great. Thank you all.

If there's any mistake on the app outside of a pending LSAT score, then you should try to reach out to them to get it addressed. Otherwise, you should be fine. Some people submit their apps while they wait for their score
So, they will send my LSAT scores to the school still?
So, I was reviewing my application form. I was pressing buttons to see how to use one of my LSAC CAS Report waivers and I used ended up submitting the app which I didn't think was possible since I did not have a LSAT score. So, does this negatively effect me? Do I need to resubmit the app in December when I get my November score back?
Proctors: 2 per room. They were fine
Facilities: Bathroom was close, multiple rooms
What kind of room: Computer room w/o computers
How many in the room: 20-30
Desks: Plenty of desk room
Left-handed accommodation: N/A
Noise levels: Not too Bad. I don't remember hearing much
Parking: Limited parking. Come early
Time elapsed from arrival to test: Can't remember exactly. Didn't have phone inside
Irregularities or mishaps: None
Other comments: I would recommend if its the closest to you
Would you take the test here again? Yes, I liked it enough to retake there in Jan
Date[s] of Exam[s]: Nov 2018
Trying to keep the thread alive lol
Hello! This may help!
HMMMM... I don't remember seeing the link. However, the closest thing I could think of is this channel.
https://www.youtube.com/user/LawSchoolChannel
Tell me what you think your top 5 favorite courses will be with whatever prior knowledge you have about the courses. This does not have to be the end all be all LOL.
ABA 1L courses include
civil procedure
constitutional law
contracts
criminal law and criminal procedure
legal writing and research
property law
torts
I think mines will be
4.Property law
You can submit your applications before you have a reportable LSAT, however LSAC will not send your CAS report until they have a score on file. So, your application will be submitted but it will be marked incomplete until your LSAT score is set. It may save you some time in the sense that once your scores are available they will be automatically sent to the schools you already submitted to, however most ad coms will not touch your application until it is complete.
You have a purpose in life that is greater than the adversity you are facing. Breathe, cry, be discouraged. However do not forget your end goals. Take it minute by minute. Set small goals and over time you will see your growth.

Hello, :D
I am in the process of foolproofing LG and I am improving. However, I do find that I am making reading errors. I guess the easy answer is to read carefully, but did anyone have this problem and have a strategy/tip to improve? Thanks.
Read the rules first with your pencil down. This will allow you to just focus on reading the rules, visualizing the game board, and getting a feel for the game.
Then, after you do that, re-read the rules again with your pencil in your hand and circle any key words like "cannot go" or "must go" to help filter out the superfluous verbiage and distractions.
Also, I like to eliminate answers on the standard acceptable situation question as I diagram them out. This ensures that I grapple with the rules more carefully one on one.
And, of course, like you mentioned, just reading more carefully, lol.
Thank you! I like this idea especially since I also find myself frequently looking back to the question stem trying to remember if it's a MBT or CBT question. I will definitely try the 2X read one without my pencil. I really appreciate your help.

This is a God-sent.
Thank you all for your advice. Every word is appreciated. I won't be delaying a cycle however, my school list is wide with 13 schools including Emory, GA State, UGA, NYU, Columbia, HLS, Stanford, GULC, Penn, Mich, UVA, Berk, and Howard. I am undecided specifically on what I want to do however it is leaning towards business (in house).
I was thinking of doing a hybrid of your comments by asking lower ranking schools to review my app with this score and retake Jan for higher rank schools. Any thoughts about this?
Hello Everyone I am a URM (AA). GPA:3.3, 156 Nov Score I've used the 7sage predictors and according to that if I was to increase to a 160 Jan score(realistic case scenario) in February, my chances would not increase only by about 2% to many of the schools I'm applying . Is this worth retaking? I would love above 160s and have done it in the past on pTs but don't want to shoot myself in the foot
Hey, I generally read all the answer choices, but I thought it would save time if not. So, I am essentially asking is it better to be safe than sorry or save time? Thanks!
Hello Everyone! I recently took a PT and I was very sad by the results. I am still in the 150s after hours of drilling and reviewing (Started in 146). My last pt was an 152 and this pt was a 152. I took a month in between the two test solely for drilling by type. My weakest is LG, but I have not started really fool proofing solely LG. I have put more time in LR and I am seeing results but it varies dramatically per section. For example, last pt I got only 9 right on the first LR and 18 right on the second LR section. I have went back to CC and went over some weak areas. Yet, this does not seem to be enough. For the sake of transparency, my BR score is in the 160s. (161 this last pt, 165 the pt before that one). However, I am at a lost. Because of this, I think I just need a break. Being in school has been difficult because I put more time in the LSAT then my own studies and I feel like I'm not seeing adequate results. Any opinions on whether I should take a break for the rest of this semester and start back in January? Has anyone took that long of a break and found it helpful. Thank you.
Hey, I recently started the CC and I was curious to know are you all drilling question types while doing CC or do you guys wait until after you have completely finished CC?
So, I'm foolproofing LG and I am doing it by difficulty. So, I'm starting with simple ordering and am almost finished with that section. I feel like I'm getting better but that's not showing in timing and accuracy wise on the first attempt. So, when did you all who foolproof started doing better?
Hello everyone!
So, I have started fool proofing, and I feel like I am not doing it effectively. I generally use the concept of doing the game once. Watched the video explanation. Do it again the same day. Then, do the same game the next day. Wait a week and do the same game again. However, I do not seem to be getting some of the games within time by the 4th try and some of them I am still answering wrong. So, I have thought of some reasons why I may not be grasping the concepts and wanted to get ya'll take on it.
First, I am not focusing specifically on LG. I have split my study times between LG and LR or LG and RC. My LR is doing better, but I also think I put more emphasis on LR. Do you think I should take it section by section instead to focus?
Second, I vary in how many games I will do a day mostly since I split time in studying. For example, I may do 2, 3, or 4 games on my study session. Should I do a whole section each time?
Third, I think my Foolproof cycling is not good. I do the four tries, but since I vary on how many I do, I may start a new game. Also, I have not returned to some of the games that I have done 4 times and not got all the answer right/within time frame. Should I increase my intervals such as: do game x twice in a day, then next week do game x, then next month do game x?
It's funny because the more I type, the more I am seeing what the problem is lol.
Hey! So, I have the starter package which is still really good. I am halfway finished with CC so, I wanted to know how many preptests should I have for drilling and practicing? Currently, I have preptests 19-28, 29-38,52-61,and 62-71. I've already used 19-28 during my powerscore studying though. Also, once you enter your test answers with blind review, does 7sage show you the types and explanations? If not, how did you all go about supplementing your studying for after CC?
Thanks everyone! I think I have decided to delay. @ I am definitely not comfortable scoring a 155 ? So ..... delay has it is
So, I was drilling some LR questions by type (MSS, SA, MBT) and there were a few answers that I was just under confidant on. I was then was wondering well what do I do what this information? I also noticed that a few answers I blind reviewed and changed answers were wrong and the original answer I picked was correct. How can I use this information to improve? In other words, what is the purpose/benefit of identifying over/under confidence?

I rather have a large class over a small one
I actually like TLS. Yes, I agree there will be some butt wholes every now and again, but you can get information from individuals who have done it. I like their various threads like "Ask a law student." You can hear from current/past students uncensored and you can meet some study buddy. 7sage by far has the best community and is very helpful. I would be sad though if something happen to TLS especially since it could be very entertaining.
I would love to say" this would never happen in law school admission process."
The truth is that it can happen though I cannot assess how likely it is. Though, it is known that law schools will use every tool available to them including social media to make a decision about an applicant. My advice "don't think twice" and make all social media accounts private, private, private.
