Hi. So based on the stimulus we know the following relevant facts about microwave popcorn:
It accounts for more than 50% of the total money from sales of microwave food products.
It takes only 3 minutes to cook (pop).
Therefore we can conclude that more money is spent on microwave food products that take 3 minutes or less to cook, than on products that take longer. Even assuming the "worst" case scenario, that every other microwave food product apart from microwave popcorn takes longer than 3 minutes to cook, this conclusion must still be true because microwave popcorn, which takes 3 minutes to cook, alone accounts for over half of all money from sales of microwave food products.
We can eliminate the other ans as well.
A and B, all we know about brand is that 75 brand of pop corn on the market. Besides that is the sales money from them. That's it. There is nothing relate to which brand is more popular or more popcorn products than the other microwave products.
C- we know about the cost by weight between these microwave popcorn and conventional and that's it. We don't know anything about the volume at all.
E- we know that the sales of microwave popcorn products is more than half of total microwave products on the market, and we know we have 75 brand of popcorn available. We don't know anything about how many microwave products available currently, maybe 300 or maybe just 80.
Hope it helps you.
