Can I use my ID as a straight edge during the exam?

I've been using my ID as a straight edge when diagramming for LG. Are we allowed to have our IDs on our desks during the exam?

I think you need to have your IDs on your desks during the test, but I don't think you can use it that way. It depends on what the proctor thinks/does.

the several times I have taken the test, everyone always kept their ID on their desks.

honestly though, I don't think there's much of a need to use something like an ID to make your lines as straight as possible as you should be moving fast when you go through the section. I mean hey, if it works for you and you finish on time then go for it! but it just depends on the proctors I think.

Not sure if you can do that. Using a pencil would probably be a safer bet.
