Did anyone else get rid of A and C and choose B because it seemed as though A and C were essentially the same answer and therefore neither one of them could have been correct?

I selected A and here is why;

Premise 1) Jennifer has worked at KVZ for over 3 years
Premise 2) Plans to take four weeks of vacation
Premise 3) Anyone who has worked at KVZ for between 1-4 years (this means Jennifer) is automatically entitled to three weeks of vacation

Pause here; If Jennifer has 4 weeks, but people are entitled to three weeks, where did this extra week come from?

Premise 4) You can apply up to half of any vacation time that remains unused at the end of one year to the next year's vacation

If she can apply up to half, she would have needed to save 2 weeks of her vacation time (half of 2 being 1). In other words, what answer choice A is saying, is Jennifer at the very minimum did not use 2 weeks of her vacation time. If Jennifer used more than 2 weeks it would not give her 4 weeks of vacation time.

For answer choice B, if you look back in the stimulus it mentions that Jennifer has worked at KVZ just over three years. So in the next she would have worked more than 4 years and thus doesn't apply to the entitled three weeks of vacation
