LSAT Writing "Exam Initiated" what does that mean

Lawyer LoochLawyer Looch Alum Member

Hey guys I took the October LSAT flex and took the writing section yesterday. I figured my score wouldnt be ready today but i checked anyways and on my LSAT writing page it says the exam was "initiated" but i finished it and hit submit so I'm a little confused. Does that means I took it and I'm awaiting confirmation of approval? How would I know if it gets flagged. Will I get an email?

It will go from “exam initiated” to “results pending” to “complete”. Exam initiated should only last a few days to a week. LSAC canceled mine by error and I received an email informing me that I didn’t have a reportable writing sample on file. I also received an email notification once my writing section was “completed” and had been reviewed. I didn’t receive an email notification when it changed from initiated to pending, though. Hope that helps.
