Whew. Does this mean anything since it's such an old test?

Nice! While the questions themselves aren't as reflective of modern LSATs, the fundamentals needed are still the same. You're definitely in a good place

Hitting the 99th percentile on any official PT that you haven't seen before -- regardless of its era -- indicates that you have likely mastered the fundamentals (and you should celebrate!! 🎉 🎉 ).

Assuming you gradually reached this score... now you need to focus on the answers you've gotten wrong (and figure out what mistakes you made for those specific questions -- basically, identify your blind spots) to be able to apply that knowledge to the variations that appear on more recent PTs.

    Hope that helps! Congrats again.

I don't see how it couldn't mean a great deal. By being able to hit that score in a PT you've shown that your capable score range right now includes a ridiculously high score. That should give you great confidence. I suggest continuing doing what you've been doing, throwing in a much more recent (in the 80s) PT to see if there's variance and how much, and continuing to grind.

    Good luck!
