PT3.S4.Q20 - Argument Part LR

edited September 2021 in Logical Reasoning 476 karma

Hello everyone,

I don't get the correct answer choice for this question. Initially, I thought the argument part is the background problem that the stimulus is resolving. Let me know your thoughts on how to get to the right answer.

  • Hey! I would love to help you but I believe the problem you cited may be a different question. The one listed in the title of the discussion is a parallel reasoning question.

I understand why the correct answer looks kinda sus, it's insanely broad. I got the answer by understanding the other 4 answers were wrong and that there was nothing to disprove C.

In my own words I'd say the the politician put that in his argument because he wanted to make the distinction that he acknowledges homelessness is a problem but is arguing for the cause of the problem

That wasn't in any answer choice so I just went with the only one that described the AP in a pretty broad sense
