help why is the correct AC correct????

B is correct because it states exactly what the author says in the last sentence. The author say that the alternative medicines don’t have side effects because it doesn't have any effects at all.... which means that just like the Orthodox medicine, Alternative medicine isn't effective at treating some (at least one) medical condition/illness.
