Experimental Section?

Are the upcoming LSATs still going to have an experimental section? I just took a preptest from June 2019 and it doesn't look like one of the sections was omitted. And then when I googled it, people were talking about the June 2022 one not having one either. Why is this? I'm taking mine in January.

Yes, current LSATs and, as far as I know, all tests for the foreseeable future will have experimental sections. I'm not sure what the deal with the June 2019 test was, so I can't give you an answer there. The June 2022 LSAT did have an experimental section, though. Some of the test takers had a unique experimental section that told them the section was experimental (because LSAC was doing some testing some new kinds of logic games), but it was still just an experimental section. So, unless something extremely bizarre happens, you'll have one in January.
