I really don't understand why D is incorrect and B has to be an answer.
Some explanations said D is too broad, but I don't see how it's too broad.
I think "in the same industry" can match fax industry so that I think D is correct.
Why is D incorrect and B an answer?

Please someone explain me.
Thanks!

    (D) is too inclusive. This stim lays out an example which pertains to the fax industry, where compatibility/cooperation among competitors is necessary in order for the that industry to flourish. (D) may not be true for the, let's say, the fast food industry. Zero cooperation between McD's and BK may well work fine in that arena. So (D) saying "some cooperation" among.... "is" beneficial, basically makes an unprovable statement concerning its beneficial nature. However, (B) is not blanket covering every industry. Instead it just declares that: In *some* industries (yes, like the fax industry) a little competition among competitors ends up benefiting that industry. This leaves McDs and BK to continue competing and not cooperating. ---- And that's the story of how we got the McRib ---
