Hello,

Can someone please explain to me why A is the correct answer but all others are wrong. I initially chose C, and I don't see how it's wrong.

    My short answer to why (A) is correct is because it is a paraphrase of the first sentence which is the MP. The rest of the stim is all info supporting this idea. (C) is a paraphrase of the 3rd statement which is part of the support. If a statement is used to support another, by definition it is not the MP.
    The term “after all” was very helpful to me in figuring out what kind of statements were to follow. C: Cats are not good pets…..P: After all, they don’t like to cuddle, they spray stuff all over the furniture, they will not protect against intruders, yadda yadda.
