    Playing devil's advocate here. So does that mean that any ambitious young woman who followed similar steps and experienced similar situations than Hillary back then will also appear cold today?

    She's not saying that other women would appear like her. She's just saying that of the many ways to deal with sexism, she chose to come off unemotional and detached. To her opponents that say she's inhuman for that, she's saying she understands but there's a reason for it.
