Has anybody picked up on trends for reading comprehension inferences for MSS questions? Ideally I want to make a chart that lists the "most common types of inferences" for RC, similar to the "most common types of flaws" for LR.
I can see how this type of approach would be attractive, but for me RC really resisted this kind of deconstruction. It's really difficult to anticipate what RC is going to do. In one sense, passages can be broken down into types just like Games can. But within those groups there are more subtleties than can really be categorized, and it's the subtleties that really define a given passage. I think the closest you can really approach to this is an analysis of the question types you can expect. There's a great webinar on that if you haven't checked it out yet: https://7sage.com/webinar/jimmy-rc-qt/
