Nothing to see here, just wallowing in self-pity. I just got back from spring break in California: 3 days in Monterey, 1 day in Santa Barbara, and 4 days in San Diego. Shorts and fleece the whole time. Now that I'm back in St Louis, currently at a pleasant 45 degrees, its a bit tough getting back into the study groove. My wife and I keep surfing realtor.com and figuring out which bank we have to rob to buy a house there.
Added motivation to crush the retake!

Is this heist of yours a family-only thing, or can outsiders jump on the wagon as well? I have some student loans I would like to get rid of before signing on the dotted line for my legal education.
California is great place to visit and the weather is very pleasant. That being said, the traffic congestion in the major highways outside of metro areas like LA and SD is getting much worse... If we had a decent subway or train system like NYC, then things would be perfect.
@westcoastbestcoast , We definitely saw the LA / SD traffic snarls you mentioned while we were there. My wife and I are spoiled because we lived in Monterey for 2 years (long ago) and got the benefits of coastal Cali without the traffic.
@FixedDice Our crew is down a member, how is your driving? Can you handle this:

Very on topic for me as I just got back from St Louis and LA visiting ASWs for WUSTL and UCLA. Are you applying to WUSTL? I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the school.
But yes, Monday and Tuesday this week I was on the beach in LA, toes in the sand, 75 degrees, even warm enough to wade in the water a bit. Back home in Seattle now where it rained 1.5” yesterday. Not impressed, SEA.
(I love my city, but this is far and away the toughest time of year.)
@"Leah M B" WUSTL is one of my top two choices (assuming I can muster a competitive LSAT score, I'm battling a huge splitter issue). I would love to hear your thoughts about your visit.
@westcoastbestcoast Continuing the California discussion, my wife sent me this while I was at the grocery store.

Wow. lets work there!
I once managed a 60-mile truck trip without any prior truck experience, so why not? Just don't expect me to pull a Fast & Furious.
