undergraduate low gpa and graduate high gpa possible to get in t14?

happyutejhappyutej Free Trial Member

I have 2.8 gpa from undergraduate and 3.88 from graduate.
Should I give up for applying to t14 Law school even though I have high LSAT?
or should I go to college to make up my low undergraduate gpa ?

No you should apply to T14s because splitters do get accepted. While the grad GPA doesn't counteract the low UGPA, I'm sure it will signal to law schools that you are capable of handling demanding academic challenges and have grown since undergrad. Good luck! :)

You should still apply if you're willing to spend the money. Your graduate GPA won't really matter, so you'll be at or below the GPA "floor" for most schools. However, if you have a good addendum, and you have an LSAT score that's above the school's 75th percentile (I'd say somewhere like 173+), I think the possibility is there.

I just wouldn't focus too much on the T14, since they'd still be considered a reach. But definitely apply anyways if one of the schools has always been a dream.
