Am currently starting on the RC section and have decided to start from the hardest problem set and work backwards. My rational is that am excited to start RC, so I want to improve on the hardest sets first, thereby allowing me to gain momentum toward the end with the easy sets.

I would start from the easy ones.
You‘re gonna waste a lot of time when you start from the hard ones and you‘ll also probably have to go back to the hard ones at the end anyway because you‘ll have missed points.
Thank you for your wisdom.
It's much easier to grasp the fundamentals with easier sets of questions. The reason harder questions are harder is because they are much more abstract. While it may seems helpful to start with the difficult questions, you will likely not be able to learn much from those questions until you have mastered the basics.
