disproportionate sample size as answer

Can someone please explain when the answer to a LR question would be 'X is considering too small of a sample size'? I feel like these are never the answer yet are valid ways to weaken the argument.

Thanks!

From my observation, they are possible answers to "what are the weakest points of the argument" type questions, meaning that the stimulus must expressly indicate that the sample size is small. This is importantly different from questions asking "what, if true, would most weaken the argument" questions, as those can bring up elements completely unnamed by the stimulus.

Take PT123 S02 Q21. We have no indication that the sample size is narrow, so B cannot be the correct answer.

I was trying to find a question for which the answer is too small a sample size, but I failed. Sorry :(

    I hope that helps!

PT136 S4 Q6 - this is a weakening question. Although the correct AC doesn't directly state that the sample size is too small, this AC does demonstrate that small or unrepresentative sample sizes are way to weaken an argument.

I've definitely seen the exact wording you're looking for as correct AC once for a flaw question, but can't recall the exact question. Definitely possible to come across but infrequent.
