I have been looking everywhere and can't seem to find any place where I can buy the 180 watch. Their website doesn't mention when they will start selling again. Is there anyone who wants to sell theirs?

I have one but I might hold on to it until after February. Have you checked eBay? That's where I got mine. This is probably the best time to find one there, too.

That great then. I can buy through this seller. Just prefer a watch that starts at 12 I.e. 0 at 12 and 35 at 7. I will look around for one. Thanks again! :D

    @sarahfatima28:

Much easier solution. Buy a $10 casio, reset to X:25 between every section. It can even do the break! Reset it to X:45 :)

Joseph, if you go that route, I recommend one thing: Getting a watch with a large winder knob. I had one with a teeny one and it was just too (painfully) annoying and time consuming to dig my finger nail under it to pull it and wind it.

I keep reading about the benefits of a simple Casio $10 watch. I don't know why but the 35 min one makes me feel safer. I will go with Casio if I don't find the one I want in a day or two. Thanks!

No idea. I mailed them. Will let you know here if I get a response.

    I ordered mine from:

    http://www.180watch.com/

I only briefly glanced at the site, but it didn't say anything about not being available to order?

The watch came pretty quickly and I'm happy with it. I didn't think it was too expensive as it'll definitely be worth it to have one for the exam.

    @sarahfatima28 I strongly agree with @josephellengar

Please see my post on why the 180 Watch isn't worth it and why Casio is the way to go:

Seeing that I can't buy the 35 minute watches (of any type) and buying second hand to courier it here is too expensive and risky, Casio is my only option. Thank you all. ☺️

@quicksilver I had already read your post and considered buying a Casio. But the small rotating bezel somehow scares me and the smaller dial's are a pain. I have to make my peace with it now.

There's a 180 watch on eBay for like $150 lol

This is not the 180 Watch, just FYI ...

I love my 180 Watch. I would pay double what I paid for it. Any time you're having to pop the dial out of an analog watch, you're risking ripping out the whole mechanism. Especially on a cheap watch.

@nicole.hopkins yeah I know. This was my option 2 if not the lsat180. Sigh!

Honestly I love my rotating bezel watch. And it was much cheaper than the 180 watch

Yeah dude. That's why it's lifechanging.

I am slightly horrified to share that capitalism has occurred and this watch is now available for more than twice its retail value.

On a side note, it took me about 5 minutes to convince the Proctor that my watch was legal for use in the LSAT.

Sounds like you need to work on those skills of persuasion because that is a long time on game day.

Well the proctor had to go get someone else to verify, so thats what took so long :/

@sarahfatima28 my guess is they're completely done selling the watches. Have been trying to order one now for around a month but unable to + they're not responding to any emails.Really sucks.

@Pacifico but 5 minutes wasnt bad considering we waited almost 30 minutes because in our room we were missing over half the people.Imagine, just sitting there for 30 min in silence lol except for when the proctor made a beeline to my desk to question me about my watch.

You are far more likely to have the poorly made 180 watch break on you than have the dial pop out of your Casio.

In fact you can buy 2 casios at full price (for a back up) and still pay less than a $50 180 watch.

And the rotating bezel is just an option you do t need to use.

If you want, pm me and ill demonstrate.

I'd sell you my 180 watch but it died out after a couple months and it doesn't even stop at 35 min.

    Scary!
Clearly, there is nothing safe about both 35 minute watches. I guess the safest bet is to train yourself to use a simple Casio watch and get accustomed to it. Thanks.

So I see this morning there's this 180 watch on Ebay for $50. I say to myself I'll buy it when I get home. Just looked and saw that this watch was purchased. So aggravating. I've emailed 180 customer service countless times and no response. Is it fair to assume they are no longer selling these watches?
  • kennedybjkennedybj Alum Member

@StopLawying you could find a much better watch, that's cheaper..
  • sarahfatima28sarahfatima28 Alum Member

@StopLawying yes it's safe to say that.

@All I have decided to go for a simple one with a big dial. If the other watches have broken down in many cases buying it would give me more anxiety than relief.

Oh my god, also ordered my watch 2+ weeks ago and still haven't received it. Emailed them also and of course no response. Their customer service absolutely sucks, I love the watch but can't stand having to deal with them. Should I just call my credit card company and tell them to stop the charge?

I would find a backup watch like the 35minutes one or something similar and then if you never get the 180 watch before the test just file a claim with your credit card company to refund your money since you never received the product.

I received mine a couple days ago. I purchased once they were available again. Shipping wasn't the fastest but no complaints.
