My fellow June Test-takers!
Please take a look at this tentative schedule below and comment your thoughts/revisions. I also have a TON of “notes” that I’d like you to consider. Please leave any thoughts about them in the comments below.
You should also add me on Skype. My username is dmlevine76 . NOTE: We’re trying to organize some 2-3-Hour interactive workshops with 7Sage tutors during the month of December. They’ll be on specific fundamental topics like Blind Review, Finding Assumptions/Flaws, and Active Reading. Be on the lookout for another discussion within the next week as we try to organize this. However, if you are interested in attending, please say so in the comments below. Also, if you’d like to suggest a topic, leave that info in the comments section. It’s all new, so we’re trying to make sure we’re matching up supply with demand. If they’re successful, I’d like to continue them into January.
NOTE: We’re starting at PT 29 because we have so many extra weeks. It’s true that many of the questions from the problem sets will be in these tests, so we really need to take those scores with a grain of salt. That being said, it’s still good practice.
NOTE: I front-loaded the PT 70s for Fridays because I believe that people need to get eyes on 70s sooner rather than later. We’ll still have PT 77 available to PT in May. Trust me when I say it is worth it to do these tests twice.
NOTE: Friday’s attendance has been hit-or-miss.
I’ve been considering I AM changing Group BR days to Tuesday-Thurssday-Saturday. Tuesday and LSATurday would be the regularly scheduled tests and Thursday will be the “wildcard” day. Please leave your thoughts in the comments.

JUNE TEST GROUP.
We’ll now use GoToMeeting for all of our Group BR needs. Simply click this link to join the scheduled BR: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/239503069.
- For everyone: take the PT under timed conditions; BR as you are able; join us for all or part of the call—everyone is welcome.
- Note: For the purposes of the call, we like to check our group blind review score together at the very end of the call So at least don't say ... "No guys, really, it's D, I checked it.” If you know the correct answer, keep that information to yourself. Win the argument with your reasoning.
- These groups work best when folks from ALL stages of prep and with all different goals join in! Not just for "super-preppers" and definitely not just for the casual LSATer (does such a person exist?).
- The only expectation anyone has for these calls is for you to have fun and ask questions as you desire. We are just a bunch of LSAT lovers who gather via GoToMeeting and intellectually slaughter each test.

Comments
1. Do blind review on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays to avoid doing blind reviews on Fridays.
2. Consider changing blind review time on Tuesdays and Thursdays (or which ever weeknight we chose) from 5pm to 6:30pm or 7pm to give the people who work a regular day job hours (9am-5pm or 10am-6pm) some time to get home first if needed. For example, a parent may need time after work to go pick up his/her kid right after work so they will never be able to join the weeknight blind review group because of the time. This will also increase the number of people who will be able to join blind review group.
3. Is it possible to adjust the blind review schedule to include BRing prep test 77 as well?
4. I am very interested in having topic specific sessions on flaws, sufficient and necessary assumptions, Most/some/valid and invalid arguments, and active reading.
Let me know what you think.
I think the Friday BR schedule for me-- in general it's always an issue of trying to complete the the PT, and have enough time to BR the test on my own, do the group BR and then get in any kind of review or refreshing for topics I'm struggling with (I know this portion will decrease with more practice)-- and trying to do that for most of the scheduled PTs in that week! Granted, my schedule is a bit more flexible so I'll just fix my schedule based on what the majority of people want to do.
On a side note: I wish 7Sage discussion area has some kind of iCal/Google Calendar function where we can just easily post all the BR sessions and whoever is subscribed to that calendar (that BR group) would get notifications or reminders on the site as to when the BR is-- this would take a lot off the BR leader's hands! As always, thanks Dave!
I was so sad to leave the BR calls when I decided to postpone. Excited to get started again with everyone:) The interactive workshops would be an amazing addition.
Thank you for all of your work to help us rock in June!
Also, one inquiry I have is I am using the Cambridge LR bundles from preptests 1-38 and am using them during my course of the curriculum and while I am doing preptests, I will be drilling them. I don't know if everyone will be using Ultimate+ (I only have Ultimate and thus don't have PDF versions of the problem sets) or some people might be doing the Cambridge LR bundles to drill with, but if the latter is true, I would absolutely LOVE to review the problem sets with other people!!!
Also, question types I would absolutely LOVE to have lessons from 7Sage tutors or sessions with would be: Assumption questions, point of issue, strengthen/weaken, and flaw. But for me personally the one question type I would love, love, LOVE to see are the necessary assumption types. I have not familiarized myself with the necessary assumption methodologies that 7Sage/Trainer teaches, I usually use the PS method and I get very confused sometimes with the correct answer choices. I will definitely be done with the curriculum by end of January, so I am very excited for these BR sessions.

I hope I didn't miss anything!! Please let me know if I did!
I've made it view only-- feel free to DM your email address so I can give you editing privileges @DumbHollywoodActor
If this is something you really don’t want us to do, now is the time to make that opinion known.
The schedule accounts for every PT so you can decide which PT you’d like to skip. I’ve also put a lot of TBAs in there if people have special tests they’d like to re-take or if they’d like to specifically request a fundamentals workshop. Plus, I think it’s critical to re-take at least 3-4 PTs in the 70’s.
When will the new schedule be updated. I see you have changed the days to Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Thank you for all your help @DumbHollywoodActor
I thought I did update the schedule. If it’s any date seems inaccurate, please let me know. Thanks
Also, I recommend you keep all the June Study Group information consolidated in one forum topic. It is very confusing trying to find current and complete information with 3 to 4 different topics on the same content.
You can come and go to the BR groups as you please. They usually run around 3 hours and usually start off slow (sometimes, it takes over an hour to get through the first section).
The BR groups and the workshops, though organized both by me, are two separate entities. One is a group who get together to discuss particular PTs. The other is a webinar-like workshop, centered on a particular fundamental topic and lead by a 7sage tutor.
Also, if I did want to jump into a workshop or BR session that is already underway, what process would I take to get there? Very unfamiliar with online group things and Skype, etc.
Thanks for your help!
For BR groups, you need a Skype account. Usually, at the beginning of the week, I'll make a summary post alerting everyone of upcoming BR group conversations. I'll also make a forum post on the actual day of the BR group. In both posts, there will be a link you can click. To get into that specific BR group, all you need to do is click that particular link.
For workshops, which are very new, we use GoToMeeting. They have a 25 person limit, so we've been releasing the link (just like Skype) to get in about a half hour before it starts. The details of the workshop are still in flux, so I'd advise checking the forum once and a while to stay abreast of the situation.
The forum is a bit of a rabbit's hole, but it's chock full of lots of nuggets of wisdom. You might want to set aside a few hours one day and just take a ride down the rabbit's hole. Welcome.
Good to know. I will definitely be joining a little later in the session.
Thanks for organizing all of this, @DumbHollywoodActor!
I second the sentiments regarding work. Fortunately, I can listen in on the calls but might have to leave at a moments notice. This will severely limit my involvement but at least I'll be able to get some tid bits here and there.
As for weekends, I think we should start early, like 11-12p EST / 8-9a PST. I think it's best to just get it out of the way so that we can try* to enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Again, this is just a suggestion. I really appreciate all the time everyone has put into this. Sooo very helpful!
And your comments aren't always warranted; maybe when they are encouraging and/or informative, but definitely not when they're borderline offensive.
Sorry if my comment rubbed you the wrong way. But again, I am really appreciative of the extra time and effort that people have put in (including you) to help others with the process.
I am going to definitely make as many calls as possible regardless of what the final schedule is. Looking forward to getting the June session started.
Just trying to help the mentor figure out the time constraint.
The logistics of such an approach are a bit intimidating; I recognize that my one-off idea for this is not the only idea and would like to hear what other folks envision for streamlining the calls (if such a goal is universally sought). While the benefit of shaving .5 or 1 hours off of a call is certainly attractive on the point of folks getting to bed earlier, I wonder if this consideration overemphasizes the pedagogical return of the calls. That is to say—for me, these calls were as much about camaraderie as anything else. Attempting to squeeze all of the extra minutes out of the call would seriously jeopardize that function.
But, @Mitzyyyy — why not join a call or two and see what you think? I'm all about innovations making these calls easier and more enjoyable for all involved! Thanks for your input and look forward to having you on soon.
The following link will explain how to find the PT's. If you have the ability, I highly recommend getting the PDF versions if Cambridge website still provides them.
