Anyone else think it's just adorable when the 90's LSATs try to talk about anything involving computers? I almost ran into trouble on PT36 with the first RC Passage. I almost died laughing when the author starts trying to explain what an emoticon is LOL.

The one explaining what a "hacker" is was funny... also felt very old when I was in a study session and a person asked what a "fax" was...

Ha! I can't wait for the hacker essay! And don't worry, technology is cyclical. Fax will come back in style.

I think I am the only one that got the typewriter LR question correct because I learned how to type on one before PC's existed...

Any question on answering machines makes me laugh.

Oh yeah! I remember the answering machine one. It was a LR question and we’ve got to weaken the argument that voicemail is going to make answering machines obsolete! That was a tough one! And typewriters are cool again @twssmith . I really want this bad boy:

    PT36 Section 3 Question 2

    Weaken Question:

News apps are going to hurt newspaper sales.

Uh, that seems pretty valid to me! And the right answer choice was something like, “people don’t just read the news to follow specific news stories, they also like to just goof around.”

    What!?

Yeah, I remember that one! As funny as these are, I think they're actually good practice for those "familiar content" questions. The content is kind of nonsense and we're forced to see past what we know.
