Is the LSAT prep helpful to GRE at all?

Sure, it can help with RC type stuff... It's probably more helpful for the GMAT since there is baby LR involved there too...

The general consensus is that any sections common to both the LSAT and GRE or GMAT are harder on the LSAT. That's why it is usually recommended to take the LSAT first. I've known people who prepped for a year for the LSAT, crushed it, and then brushed up on their math skills for a month or so and then crushed the GMAT.

They're very different tests; the only similarities are that GRE has easier RC and a few LR questions (standard strengthen/weaken questions, the kind you would find within the first 5 questions on an LSAT)
