I know that there are 5 35 minute sections plus the writing sample but isn't there a break in between there ?

15 min break after section 3. The writing sample is also 35 mins. But when you actually begin the test is different for every center.

We started at 8:30 and finished at 1:00 precisely. So 4.5 hours.
