How long do LOR e-mails take to get to recommender

I just sent both my LOR's out to each respective recommender, and I warned my boss that she may be receiving one soon. Does LSAC not send them out automatically?

I'm not sure what the delay is, but I can't imagine it's too long. Maybe it's a weekend thing?
