Forgot to include source - I called LSAC last week as I was also in the dark. I was surprised they mailed out the performance reports last month with no mention of the refund process.

I was told they mail the refund check after the official score has been released. Wasn't given a time frame, but score must come first to ensure no cancellation, and then the refund will be granted.

I personally do name schools in my PS. I believe this is ok based on past research on personal statements (I've read many from top schools!). I think it's more of a personal decision rather than a concern of permissibility.

I'm in the exact same boat! Re-applying this year and would only be wanting to tweak my PS from last year. I love what I wrote and I think I will stick to that. Just adding on an LSAT re-write and some extra curriculars/volunteering.
