  • Yeah I felt the same way but I'm mostly just kicking myself over how the LSAT / all of undergrad went lol
  • @"Leah M B" said: I wasn't mentally prepared yet, I was looking forward to just keeping busy with the holidays and not freaking out until the 2nd at least. https://media.giphy.com/media/1FMaabePDEfgk/giphy.gif Same because I probably di…
  • I thought I understood these but recently I've been confusing myself. Does the correct answer ever reinforce a premise? Like if we negated it, it would ruin the premise (and thus, the argument), but we have to treat the premises as gospel so that d…
  • I'm going to ask her if she could mail it, but do they accept fax as well?
  • @"Paul Caint" said: @deansr Dang, that would be really upsetting. My GPA is a 3.90; UChicago's median. I'm unsure if I should wait for December to hopefully get a better LSAT score. I just don't know what to think of these fee waivers - I…
  • How's your GPA? Chicago likes high GPAs more than the LSAT. I've also seen some people say schools want to keep their acceptance rate low so the waivers are to get you to apply, then they reject you. I don't think they're that nefarious but who know…
  • @"joe.j.ham" said: Would you mind elaborating on this a bit? So I went to an early-college HS where you graduate with both your HS diploma and an Associate's degree... wasn't the best student in HS and received mediocre grades for my Assoc…
  • @"Alex Divine" said: Whoa! that's crazy they made an error like that. Any error is serious and I'm extremely happy you did something about it and were vindicated. Good for you @deansr Thanks! I have the emails and old Summary Report screensh…
  • @sillllyxo said: what do you mean by high school test credit? I took a test through a community college in high school. They said if we took a test we could earn college credit. It wasn't a dual enrollment class or anything but more like AP …
  • I know a few joint degree programs accept the LSAT instead of making you take the GRE. The only one that I'm really interested in is Virginia's JD/MA in history. It's a three year program, costs nothing extra, and accepts the LSAT.
  • @Nunuboy1994 said: Isn't that a really good score though? I mean I had a mentor who got into YLS from Tufts with a 165 and magna cum laude Apparently Chicago likes higher GPAs more than other schools. Their median is 3.90 so that's why I nee…

  • PT68 game 4. Also, PT65 game 4 has an odd/rare style.
  • How long have you been studying? How many prep tests have you taken? I started studying in the spring semester of my junior year (2016). I studied more intensely while working full-time in the summer and took the test in June of 2016. I didn't get t…
  • Do they show up as transfer credits on your transcript at your degree institution? I took dual-enrollment classes in high school and I'm having those transcripts sent.
  • Yeah CAS confused me at first. My university does it electronically and that was so much easier. Where you are in the application process doesn't matter. Make sure you get transcripts from every institution you got credit through, including post-se…
  • Superprep tests A, B, and C have some killer games. Games in the 50s seemed to have a common theme of sequencing with similar rules. Newer games (70s) like to use distribution inferences (X has to have more than Y), and try to hide how pieces pair u…
  • -10 seems fair. I think there's a better chance for a -11 than a -9. I've taken every PT since 52 (and some before) and this didn't feel abnormally easy. It felt about on par with 74 (-12), and slightly harder than 78 (-11). Plus, after lurking on f…
  • Another issue is the devotion to legacy students (for alumni donations). Harvard's undergrad class of 2021 is 29.3% legacy. I'd be interested to see the percent of law school legacy students.
  • Maybe. I've heard that admissions boil down to LSAT and GPA because that's how schools get ranked. If you can swing an LSAT score in that range I'd say you have a good shot at those and most T-14 schools. Plus, you can probably put together a compel…
  • LR in the newer tests (70s) are a little trickier. They don't feel as mechanical, and the correct answers aren't as obvious as earlier tests. A solution I found was to review an explanation of every LR question I missed or was unsure about on the M…
