Hey There!
I've worked as a legal assistant (intern) a few years back. Apart from that I have had 3 stellar co-op placements at Fortune 500 companies. Although they are not law related, I have done a fair bit of cover letter writing.
I could look…
Well the problem is now that I pretty much depleted all the LSATs.
I've done all the drills on here, as well as the drills in LR Encyclopedia by Nathan Fox
I got a really low score on my first LSAT too, but 7sage has put me on the right track and has helped me achieve the confidence I need to improve. I personally wish I had found this site earlier. Anything is possible, there is no "limit" on how muc…
Not sure about schools in the US, but I know that in Canada the schools have rolling applications, which means they consider your application on an on-going basis. If your application is not "competitive" with your September score, it will be re-eva…
Hey there,
You actually have to manually add a section from another PT in order to write a 5 section timed LSAT.
Your score will not be skewed, as on the real LSAT, the "experimental" section does not count towards your LSAT score. If anything, it…
I'd say the biggest improvement to snipe would be via Logic Games, depending on how you are currently scoring. The newer LG stunned me at first, but I have slowly adjusted to them.
Apart from that, looking over the more recent PTs, and checking you…
I definitely found the RC sections harder in the newer exams, specifically 52+.
As mentioned above, the LG sections in the 70s+ seem to have 2 easy games, one medium and then a game from hell.... Which has lowered my score on the recent PTs.
Yeah, I'm trying to not let it get to me, its a one off exam. Was just wondering if the overall difficulty was greater, or if it was just me. I'll analyze and see where I went wrong tomorrow.
Also, thanks for the encouragement haha
I'd say the best bet is to just look over the incorrect answers from your previous PTs, review and try to understand your mistakes.
I am also writing in December, and only have a few exams left. At the very least, we will be able to do PT 73 before…
Definitely do the newer PTs timed, as if they were the December LSAT. The most recent LSATs are be the best illustration of what we can expect come December.
I hated them too, turns out Logic Games are now my best section. Scoring around (-1 to -4 max)... Just takes practice, put in the time and you will see great results!
Just remember, all answer choices have a 20% chance of being correct! I had a PT where on one section there was only 2 E's... and I was like noooo way? This must be wrong.
It wasn't. They are in a position to play psychological games with us, don'…
I only have a few prep-tests left over myself... would definitely just look over the mistakes you had in the previous PT's and try to understand where you went wrong. Re-doing full PTs which were previously done isn't really much help.
Hey, I find that I prefer to answer questions on paper rather than from the monitor as well. Just purchase LSAC's "The Next 10 Actual, Official LSAT Preptest" book. That way when you go through the syllabus you can just search the questions in the b…
If you find that you are struggling with a particular Question Type (ex. Parallel Method / Parallel Flaw) skip it, move on to the other questions and come back to it, time permitting.
For me, I find these take up too much time, and my accuracy rat…
Did you analyze the questions you missed on these LSATs?
I find that I tend to memorize the correct answer once I do my review, and thus re-taking the same exam makes me believe that I know more than I actually do. It also gave me the bad habit of s…
I was hoping to write in September too, I started 7sage around late July. Turns out I need some more time to reach my target score... soo December it is.
At the end, a lot of it comes down to your psychological approach. Before 7sage I couldn't sta…
I started in the mid 140's... Ranging between a 157-159 most of the time. Hit my first 161 last week though!
All I can say is take your time, don't rush it.
Be sure to analyze your mistakes carefully, you will learn a lot from them.
Good luck!
