I believe make up tests are pencil and paper. The good news is, the scores are usually released the same day as everyone else so rolling admissions is not impacted.

For me the key to a lot of the unusual logic games on the October test was running the numbers. Keeping track of what the various numerical possibilities could be, helped in games 1 and 3 which had pretty vague gameboards in my opinion.

If you are confident that you can do better I would cancel. If something goes horribly wrong in September you can always retake. I'm in the same boat. I got a 168 and am consistently PTing between 171-175 and will probably cancel.
