Yeah, this is a violation of the LSAC's rules. If you can find legal copies of PTs from the late 70s, they truly aren't that different at all from PT 80.
It's definitely possible. Do core curriculum, take PTs (the max that I can properly review is 2 per week, but some people can do 3/4). Save the 70s for last. There is also a lot of good advice throughout the forums.

The reading comprehension in the 60s + are overall more difficult. At least that's largely the consensus. So that explains some of the score drop in RC.
