I'm thinking of applying to Columbia ED. My GPA is higher than their 75th percentile and I'm planning on taking the LSAT in October, but I've been scoring slightly below their 25thpercentile (high 160s) on PTs. Would it be worth giving ED a shot?

@greenbergcoupons It's the idea that if one is in the 25thpercentile or below, in either the LSAT or UGPA, that person must put themselves in the 75th percentile of the other. It is a good guideline but it's not necessarily as critical as it used to be.

I would wager no. According to law school numbers dot com, both your GPA & LSAT score are below their 25thpercentile. Those#s being 3.2 and 149. I believe it is highly unlikely to be accepted into a school when both are below the 25th

My quick answer is that you are a splitter when one of your LSAT/GPA is below the 25thpercentile of the school and the other is above the 75th percentile
