Shouldn't hurt to ask! Worse case scenario, they will deny your request. You may want to provide a medical note stating that you need more extra time, though.

Yeah your LORs will be good until your account expires - usually if they are older than a year or so it's good to ask your recommender to maybe update it incase they wrote something that was particular for that coming cycle.
Actually LSAC says that you can Register for December after today's deadline if you have.a score from Sept - you can write a request to be refunded the late fee. The full details are in a post at the beginning of this thread:)
