From my understanding, schoolsseeyour score in it's entirety and not just by section. The exception being the writing sample. HYS don't award merit $$$, but a higher LSAT will never hurt ;)

24/25 is the median forlawschools, these days, at least at the ones I know of. I'm 26 myself, and I've found that taking a few years off was beneficial for a variety of reasons. And I would argue taking the time off brought no disadvantages.
