Mike concludes that it would be okay for him to use Tom’s computer, despite not having permission. This is because Tom borrowed someone’s bike without permission last week.

Mike is assuming the golden rule: treat others how you want to be treated. Under this assumption, it’s okay for Mike to treat Tom in a way that Tom has treated others.

The argument is unconcerned with theft, just whether it’s okay for Mike to borrow Tom’s computer. As such, we don’t care what is or isn’t theft.

We don’t know if Mike is planning to lie to Tom about using his computer, so this principle doesn’t help us.

Wrong trigger. Tom didn’t borrow Mike’s bike, so we can’t activate this conditional statement.
