Affirmative answers do not necessarily preclude, or even prejudice, admission to Oklahoma City University School of Law. But, if you have been convicted of offenses other than minor traffic violations, you are strongly advised to consult, prior to enrolling in law school, with bar officials in the state where you plan to practice law. In addition to a bar examination, there are character, fitness, and other qualifications for admission to the bar in every US jurisdiction. Applicants are encouraged to determine the requirements for any jurisdiction in which they intend to seek admission by contacting the jurisdiction. Addresses for all relevant agencies are available through the National Conference of Bar Examiners.

Upon your graduation from law school, bar officials will request a copy of your law school application, including addendums submitted. It is critical that information disclosed at the time of application to law school correlates with the information you submit to the bar. Discrepancies between these records could affect approval of your application for the bar.

Have you ever been academically dismissed, placed on academic probation or suspension, or been reprimanded for academic or other reasons by any of the colleges or universities you have attended, or are there actions, charges or investigations for academic reasons pending or expected to be brought against you?
Have you ever been investigated by any professional licensure board or entity for any actions or charges; faced disciplinary action by a professional licensure board or entity; had a professional license suspended, revoked, terminated, or made conditional; or are there actions, charges, or investigations pending or expected to be brought against you by any professional licensure board or entity?
Have you EVER been cited for, charged with, arrested for, or indicted for ANY violation of criminal law? Violations of criminal law include charges and tickets for speeding or minor traffic violations, even if a fine was paid and the charges were dismissed. Include parking violations only if you have received ten or more tickets.
Have you ever received deferred adjudication or probation for any violation of criminal law, even if the offense has been expunged and does not appear on your permanent record?
Are there any criminal charges pending or expected to be brought against you?
