Stay calm and just diagram/map them out in a way that makes sense. I think a lot of what throws us our game off with these is mental. I believe if you can solve Sequencing and Grouping games well you can often figure out the odd ball ones as well.
It also helps to practice solving and fool-proofing all of the past odd ball games. This way you have practice with how to approach and solve them.
