Hello,
I have a question, in my PS I discussed I have been interested in law for a long time, but I studied a totally different subject in grad school. There are several reasons and I did not study it for giving up law school, but should I explain that in addendum? Or do I look like I am making an excuse?

No. All types of people with all types of background apply to law school, not just people who just studied political science. Law schools like diversity and won't question your grad school concentration. I don't think it's worth mentioning unless it is something integral to your PS. You don't even have to mention law in your PS.
