LG is kind of just a matter of grinding it out and doing it right. If you can't do much fool proofing, I'm not sure what good a tutor is going to do you. A month is enough time to make meaningful improvement, but you're going to have to log the hours plain and simple.
I think it would be very helpful to send your tutor footage of you taking a timed section. This way they can give you some objective advice on how to improve.
However, even with the most helpful strategies, you still need to practice executing them. So plan on having to fool proof a ton before you're able to nail down this section.
