I feel like these types of questions are impossible to answer without knowing content of the rest of the app. My general opinion is anything that shaped you is important. It is equally important to understand things that seem major to you might be trivial to others.
Since you're not coming now from an economically disadvantaged family, I wouldn't put it in a diversity statement but that's a great thing to point out in your personal statement.

Actually, this question is kind of answered here ^ it says if you grew up without a lot of money but are fine now, you can write one.
