Can’t believe I’m writing this but I just got my first acceptance of the cycle. Penn State offered me a full ride (including for the second and third years) and I’m beyond surprised. I’m an international student, so I don’t know much about it. It was one of my last choices when applying but after getting a full ride + reading about it online, I’m actually quite intrigued! I was wondering if anyone else on here was also accepted or is currently studying there? Would love to know what it’s like, what the town is like, etc. Thanks!

lots of people cancel and retake the test several times, i wouldn't worry about it at all.
Please let me know if they grant you the retake as I had an issue during my test and they said I wasn’t eligible for the retake day

@emmorens932 hey! if you can, download the app memory diag from the app store. My ram was fine ALL week and did the same thing 10 minutes ago. You basically press a button and recycle ram. It freed up mine from 94%
THANK YOU!!!! i just downloaded it and now im all good. whew.

Taking the test today at 12:30. So nervous I don’t know what to do with myself. Hopefully I calm myself down soon. Wish me luck everyone
GOOD LUCK!!! I am writing in 45 mins ahh. I recommend going on a walk if you can (listen to music or a podcast etc.) I find it shocks my brain and really really REALLY helps me focus
haha i just went for a walk! GOOD LUCK on your test. everything will be fine.

Something that I learned from my previous experience for any nervous test takers today...I found covering the red light that indicates the webcam is on to be helpful! It doesn't interfere with anything at all. Just is less stressful than to have a creepy red light staring at you
This is a great tip. Knowing I’m being “watched” makes me feel hyperaware of myself and way more nervous.
I’m writing today at 12:30. I’m trying to tell myself this will be like any other prep test I’ve taken. There’s no reason why it should be any different. Good luck everyone!

i studied half heartedly in the summer of 2018, planned on taking it in fall 2018 but got too busy with school and had to postpone it. didnt start studying again until around may 2020 and studied full time until now. i had a 150 diagnostic, took the test twice, cancelled once and got a 158 on my second one. im writing the january test tomorrow and i'm pting at around 165. i think it just took me a while to decide if i really wanted to do this, because going to law school is a huge commitment.

i know that we're allowed to use 5 sheets of scratch paper total, but are there any restrictions on how they're allocated? eg if i write on all 5 sheets during the games section, am i allowed to use any remaining space for lr and reading? or am i prohibited from using those sheets again once the section's done?
You can use them however you want!

im going to continue to go through logic games to stay sharp (i have a list of really tough ones i want to try), since i need to practice those constantly to be on my game. i'll also do some logical reasoning 10 in 10 drills. i'll do my logic games and LR drills the day of my test too, just to warm up.
i have a wrong answer journal so i think i'll also study that. as for RC, i actually don't really study passages. i think i will read some science or economics magazine articles. those are my two worst subjects for RC.
same, except i will read a couple of passages tomorrow night just to stay primed. I'm not letting off.
there's so much I want to review but can't really fit it all together.
That sounds like a good plan. And yeah, I’d love to have another week of studying, but I feel like this is just one of those experiences that I’ll never feel fully “ready” for. Just have to jump in.
To those who took it, how did this test compare to your August flex experience? I know there were a lot of different kinds of tests but overall I think Powerscore said August was pretty hard. Just curious

you dont even really need to include the first sentence in your logic map:
if ordered by a judge or her editor -> she will reveal the identity
the info is about safety at a power plant
conclusion:
she will reveal the identity
if the info is about safety at a power plant -> a judge or her editor will order her to reveal the identity -> she will reveal it
i really lingered on E but ultimately got rid of it because the stimulus only talks about behaviour, which isn't the same as understanding how to use something. C describes behaviour
im kind of getting the sense that there is a misc game... i know you guys cant confirm or deny though.

Congrads to everyone who finished today! You must be somewhat relieved! I can't wait to be finished with this exam....I've never written the flex and just hoping someone knows whether size matters for the 5 pieces of paper allowed. I write really big and am worried 5 pages is not enough. Also can i use pens or do i have to use pencils? Also when i show the protactor using my phone my surroundings do you just shut it off then and can you slide it away? I don't think i own a small mirror so wondering how it works with the cell phone.
Thank you!!
i think its 5 pieces of regular printer paper. and to my knowledge you can use pens or pencils, i didn't an issue when i used both. and regarding the phone, i showed them mine, then shut it off and threw it under a pillow on my bed. they ask to see where you keep it.

Do you need to have your passwords on hand or can you have it automatically saved on your computer ?
when i wrote my last flex i just had my passwords automatically saved (autofill).. lord knows i have no idea what they are on my own
i dont think so because you have to assign letters to each application. i know grad schools let you pay, submit your application and then continue working on supporting documents until the deadline but for LSAC im pretty sure you just submit everything as one package.
i legit had no idea what the flaw was but picked A because it was the most similar argument structure
