this seems more like an exception to the rule.
in the past (and now too), they could be requested as an accommodation (worded as "stand with a podium"), which demands medical documentation: https://www.lsac.org/lsat/lsac-policy-accommodations-test-takers-disabilities/accommodations-may-be-available-lsat
but i would ask lsac what they'd say with regards to the new flex tests.
